In conjunction with the Olney Wine Lovers Meet Up Group, The Winery at Olney is hosting an exclusive wine tasting event featuring five new wines that will be presented to the pulbic in the coming months.

The Winery's wine making team of Jeremy Cronin and Alex Hakspiel will provide in-depth description of each of the new wines and invite your reactions and feedback. Participants will receive generous pours of the following five wines:

--Super Tuscan
--Australian Meritage
--Tempranillo/Cabernet Sauvignon Blend
--Barolo
--Gewurtztraminer

Light appetizers will also be provided. The cost for the event is $15. Spaces are limited!

Chef Allen Read returns to The Winery for the third installment of our Cooking with Wine series. This time, his class & demonstration will feature three seafood dishes: Steamed mussels, ceviche, and sushi.

Each participant will not only learn how to prepare each of these dishes, but they will also enjoy sampling the finished product. Each sample will be accompanied by generous pours of three of our wines.

The first two Cooking with Wine classes sold out within a week as spaces are limited.

The Winery at Olney introduces the unique concept of bring a working winery to an urban, retail setting. All of our wide variety of wines are fermented on-site at our location in the Fair Hill Shopping Center in Olney, where our customers can enjoy them at our signature tasting bar, by the glass in one of our cool seating areas, or purchase them to go. If there is one that you find to be exceptionally delicious, we can help you make your own custom batch of wine (28-30 bottles) in our U-Vint area.
